DENEIKA MORTON
Deneika
is our full-time Kindergarten Coordinator. She has over six years of professional afterschool child care service experience in Newton and the local Auburndale, Massachusetts community, and has been a valued afterschool educator at WASC since 2005.
Deneika graduated from Fisher College in 2005 with a Degree in Early Childhood Education, followed up with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Lasell College in 2008. She is currently seeking postgraduate education at Walden University in Mental Health Counseling.
Deneika's work skills and credentials include internships at a charter school and also a domestic violence shelter prior to her employment position with WASC. Deneika has been the program's Kindergarten Coordinator since 2008. She is currently Basic First Aid and CPR certified.
Working with children is a passion and fulfillment of a longtime dream for Deneika.
